Depart early in the morning from your beach hotel in Mombasa or Diani and drive inland through the scenic Mombasa–Nairobi Highway towards Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning mountain views.
