Clients acknowledge that travel services, including but not limited to accommodation, transportation, and activities, may be provided by third-party suppliers such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, and transportation companies.
Each supplier may have its own terms and conditions governing the provision of services, which clients are bound to adhere to during the course of their travel arrangements. Clients are responsible for familiarizing themselves with and complying with the terms and conditions of each supplier.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited acts only as an intermediary between clients and suppliers and shall not be held liable for any disputes, breaches, or issues arising between clients and suppliers. Any claims or grievances regarding the services provided by suppliers must be directed to the respective supplier.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited reserves the right to modify or cancel bookings, itineraries, or arrangements in accordance with the terms and conditions of its suppliers, as well as any unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, or changes in local regulations.
By booking with Grey Impala Safaris Limited, clients agree to abide by the terms and conditions of both Grey Impala Safaris Limited and its suppliers, as applicable. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of suppliers may result in additional charges, penalties, or denial of services.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK AND BEHAVIOUR:
Clients acknowledge that travel inherently involves certain risks and uncertainties, including but not limited to accidents, illness, injury, and unforeseen events.
Clients agree to conduct themselves in a responsible and respectful manner throughout the duration of their travel arrangements, including interactions with fellow travelers, local communities, and wildlife.
Clients must adhere to all safety guidelines, instructions, and regulations provided by Grey Impala Safaris Limited, its representatives, and any third-party suppliers involved in the provision of services.
Clients understand that participation in certain activities, such as wildlife safaris, adventure sports, and outdoor excursions, may involve inherent risks and dangers, and agree to assume full responsibility for their own safety and well-being during such activities.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage suffered by clients as a result of their failure to comply with safety guidelines, instructions, or regulations, or as a result of their own reckless or negligent behavior.
ACCURACY AND PRICING:
Grey Impala Safaris Limited endeavors to provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding prices, itineraries, and other travel-related details. However, clients acknowledge that prices and availability are subject to change without notice due to factors beyond the control of Grey Impala Safaris Limited, including fluctuations in exchange rates, changes in government taxes or fees, and adjustments made by third-party suppliers.
All prices quoted by Grey Impala Safaris Limited are based on current tariffs, exchange rates, and other relevant factors at the time of booking. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of pricing information, clients understand that final prices may vary depending on factors such as seasonality, availability, and specific client requirements.
Any additional charges, fees, or expenses incurred during the course of travel arrangements, including but not limited to optional activities, meals, and personal purchases, are the responsibility of the client and must be settled directly with the relevant supplier.
Clients are advised to carefully review all pricing information provided by Grey Impala Safaris Limited and to seek clarification on any discrepancies or uncertainties before confirming their booking. Grey Impala Safaris Limited shall not be held liable for any inaccuracies or discrepancies in pricing information provided to clients.
BOOKING AND PAYING FOR YOUR ARRANGEMENTS:
All bookings made with Grey Impala Safaris Limited are subject to availability and confirmation by Grey Impala Safaris Limited.
To secure a booking, clients are required to provide a deposit, the amount of which will be specified by Grey Impala Safaris Limited at the time of booking. The deposit amount may vary depending on the nature of the travel arrangements and the specific requirements of the client.
The remaining balance of the total booking cost must be paid in full before the commencement of the safari, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by Grey Impala Safaris Limited. Failure to make full payment by the specified deadline may result in the cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit.
Payment methods accepted by Grey Impala Safaris Limited may include bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed-upon methods. Any additional fees or charges associated with payment transactions are the responsibility of the client and must be borne by the client.
Upon receipt of the required deposit and full payment, Grey Impala Safaris Limited will issue a booking confirmation and any relevant travel documents to the client. It is the responsibility of the client to review the booking confirmation and ensure that all details are correct. Any discrepancies or errors must be reported to Grey Impala Safaris Limited immediately for correction.
Clients are advised to review the cancellation policy and terms and conditions of Grey Impala Safaris Limited before making a booking. Cancellation fees may apply in the event of cancellation or changes to the booking, and the amount of refund, if any, will be determined in accordance with the cancellation policy of Grey Impala Safaris Limited and the terms of the service providers involved.
TRAVEL CREDITS:
Grey Impala Safaris Limited may issue travel credits under certain circumstances, such as cancellations or changes to bookings, as determined by Grey Impala Safaris Limited’s policies.
Travel credits are non-transferable and may only be used by the original recipient for future travel arrangements booked through Grey Impala Safaris Limited.
Travel credits have an expiry date, which will be specified at the time of issuance. It is the responsibility of the client to utilize the travel credits before the expiry date. Expired travel credits will not be eligible for redemption or refund.
The value of travel credits may be applied towards the total cost of future travel arrangements booked through Grey Impala Safaris Limited, subject to availability and any additional terms and conditions specified by Grey Impala Safaris Limited.
Clients are advised to review the terms and conditions associated with the issuance and redemption of travel credits carefully. Grey Impala Safaris Limited reserves the right to modify or cancel travel credits at any time, without prior notice, at its sole discretion.
SPECIAL REQUESTS:
Grey Impala Safaris Limited endeavors to accommodate special requests made by clients to enhance their travel experience, such as dietary preferences, room preferences, and mobility assistance.
While Grey Impala Safaris Limited will make every effort to fulfill special requests, clients understand that such requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Clients are encouraged to notify Grey Impala Safaris Limited of any special requests at the time of booking. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that all special requests are clearly communicated to Grey Impala Safaris Limited in writing.
Any additional costs or charges associated with special requests may be incurred by the client and must be settled directly with Grey Impala Safaris Limited or the relevant supplier.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited shall not be held liable for any failure to fulfill special requests due to factors beyond its control, including but not limited to availability, operational constraints, or changes in circumstances.
AGE, FITNESS AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS:
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they possess the necessary physical fitness and medical condition to undertake the activities included in their travel itinerary.
Clients with pre-existing medical conditions, disabilities, or special needs must inform Grey Impala Safaris Limited at the time of booking to assess the feasibility of their participation in the safari activities.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited may provide information about the physical requirements and health considerations associated with specific activities or destinations. However, clients acknowledge that they are ultimately responsible for determining their own suitability for participation.
Clients are advised to consult with their healthcare provider or a qualified medical professional before undertaking any strenuous activities or traveling to remote or high-altitude destinations.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, or medical complications arising from the client’s failure to disclose relevant medical information or to adequately assess their own physical fitness and health condition. Clients participate in safari activities at their own risk.
PASSPORT, VISA AND IMMIGRATION FORMALITIES:
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they possess valid passports, visas, and any other necessary travel documents required for entry into their destination country and transit points.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited may provide general information and assistance regarding passport, visa, and immigration requirements based on the client’s nationality and travel itinerary. However, it is the client’s responsibility to verify and comply with the specific entry requirements of each destination.
Clients must ensure that their passports are valid for at least six months beyond the intended duration of their stay and have sufficient blank pages for entry and exit stamps.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited shall not be held liable for any expenses, losses, or damages incurred by clients due to their failure to comply with passport, visa, or immigration requirements, including but not limited to denied entry, deportation, or travel disruptions.
Clients are advised to contact the embassy or consulate of their destination country and consult official government websites for the most up-to-date information on passport, visa, and immigration requirements.
INSURANCE:
Grey Impala Safaris Limited strongly recommends that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen events and emergencies during their travel, including but not limited to trip cancellations, medical emergencies, evacuation, and loss of personal belongings.
Travel insurance coverage should include adequate medical coverage, emergency medical evacuation, trip cancellation/interruption, baggage loss/damage, and personal liability.
It is the responsibility of the client to purchase travel insurance independently from a reputable insurance provider before the commencement of their travel arrangements.
Clients must carefully review the terms, conditions, and coverage limits of their travel insurance policy to ensure that it meets their specific needs and provides adequate protection for the duration and activities of their travel.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited shall not be held liable for any expenses, losses, or damages incurred by clients due to the lack of adequate travel insurance coverage, including but not limited to medical expenses, emergency evacuation costs, or replacement of lost or stolen belongings. Travel insurance is essential for the protection and peace of mind of clients during their travel.
IF YOU CHANGE OR CANCEL YOUR PACKAGE BOOKING:
Clients may request changes to their package booking, including amendments to travel dates, itinerary adjustments, or other modifications. Any such requests must be communicated to Grey Impala Safaris Limited in writing.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited reserves the right to assess administrative fees or charges for changes made to package bookings, in addition to any applicable fees imposed by third-party suppliers, such as airlines, hotels, or tour operators.
In the event of a cancellation of the package booking by the client, cancellation fees may apply as per the cancellation policy of Grey Impala Safaris Limited and the terms of the service providers involved. The amount of refund, if any, will be determined based on the timing of the cancellation and any penalties incurred.
Clients are advised to review the cancellation policy of Grey Impala Safaris Limited carefully before making a booking and to understand the potential financial implications of changes or cancellations to their travel arrangements.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited shall not be held liable for any expenses, losses, or damages incurred by clients as a result of changes or cancellations to their package booking, including but not limited to non-refundable deposits, cancellation fees, or penalties imposed by third-party suppliers. Clients are responsible for any financial consequences arising from changes or cancellations made to their travel arrangements.
DELAYS, MISSED ARRANGEMENTS AND CURTAILMENT:
Grey Impala Safaris Limited shall not be liable for any delays, missed arrangements, or curtailment of the safari due to factors beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, mechanical failures, strikes, or changes in local regulations.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances that result in delays, missed arrangements, or curtailment of the safari, Grey Impala Safaris Limited will make every effort to minimize disruption and inconvenience to clients and to provide suitable alternatives or assistance as necessary.
Clients acknowledge that transportation schedules, including those of airlines, trains, and other modes of transport, are subject to change without notice, and that delays or disruptions may occur due to factors such as weather conditions, technical issues, or air traffic control.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited shall not be held liable for any additional expenses, losses, or damages incurred by clients as a result of delays, missed arrangements, or curtailment of the safari, including but not limited to additional accommodation costs, transportation expenses, or missed connections.
Clients are advised to maintain flexibility in their travel plans and to allow sufficient time for potential delays or disruptions, especially when making onward travel arrangements or connections. Grey Impala Safaris Limited recommends that clients purchase travel insurance to provide coverage for unforeseen events and travel disruptions.
IF WE CHANGE OR CANCEL YOUR PACKAGE BOOKING:
In the unlikely event that Grey Impala Safaris Limited is unable to provide the booked arrangements due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to insufficient bookings, operational constraints, or force majeure events, Grey Impala Safaris Limited reserves the right to modify, change, or cancel the package booking.
If Grey Impala Safaris Limited cancels the package booking due to circumstances within its control, clients will be offered suitable alternatives or a full refund of the amount paid, as determined by Grey Impala Safaris Limited.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited shall not be liable for any additional expenses, losses, or damages incurred by clients as a result of changes or cancellations made by Grey Impala Safaris Limited, including but not limited to non-refundable deposits, cancellation fees, or penalties imposed by third-party suppliers.
Clients acknowledge that Grey Impala Safaris Limited may be required to make changes to the itinerary, accommodation, or mode of transport due to factors beyond its control, and agree to cooperate with Grey Impala Safaris Limited to find suitable solutions or alternatives.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited will make every effort to inform clients of any changes or cancellations to their package booking as soon as reasonably practicable and to provide assistance and support to minimize disruption and inconvenience to clients.
FORCE MAJEURE:
Grey Impala Safaris Limited shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions or for any delay, interruption, or cancellation of services due to force majeure events.
Force majeure events include, but are not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, labor disputes, governmental actions, pandemics, epidemics, and any other unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Grey Impala Safaris Limited.
In the event of a force majeure event that affects the provision of services or the ability of clients to travel, Grey Impala Safaris Limited will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact and to provide assistance and support to affected clients.
Clients acknowledge and accept that force majeure events may result in changes to travel arrangements, itinerary modifications, or cancellations, and agree to cooperate with Grey Impala Safaris Limited to find suitable solutions or alternatives.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited shall not be held liable for any additional expenses, losses, or damages incurred by clients as a result of force majeure events, including but not limited to non-refundable deposits, cancellation fees, or penalties imposed by third-party suppliers.
ASSISTANCE AND COMPLAINTS:
Grey Impala Safaris Limited is committed to providing clients with assistance and support throughout their travel experience.
In the event of any issues, complaints, or concerns during the safari, clients are encouraged to contact Grey Impala Safaris Limited immediately for assistance.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited will make every effort to address and resolve any complaints or issues raised by clients in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Clients are advised to report any complaints or issues as soon as they arise to allow Grey Impala Safaris Limited the opportunity to investigate and resolve them promptly.
If a resolution cannot be reached during the safari, clients may submit a formal complaint in writing to Grey Impala Safaris Limited within a reasonable timeframe following the conclusion of the safari.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited will acknowledge receipt of the complaint and undertake a thorough investigation to address the concerns raised by the client.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited is committed to continuous improvement and welcomes feedback from clients to enhance the quality of its services and operations.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Grey Impala Safaris Limited acts as an agent for transportation companies, hotels, and all other suppliers providing services, including accommodations, meals, and transportation. Grey Impala Safaris Limited assumes no liability for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property, accident, delay, or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle or for any reason whatsoever, or through the acts or default of any company or person engaged in conveying passengers, or of any hotel proprietor or servant.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited reserves the right to cancel or alter itineraries as it may deem necessary or desirable without notice and will pass any extra expenses incurred due to such changes to clients.
While Grey Impala Safaris Limited will make every effort to ensure the safety of its clients, clients acknowledge that travel to certain destinations may involve greater risk than others. By participating in travel arranged by Grey Impala Safaris Limited, clients are assuming the risks associated with such travel.
Grey Impala Safaris Limited shall not be responsible for any damages or expenses incurred as a result of acts of God, force majeure, or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.
By booking with Grey Impala Safaris Limited, clients agree to release and hold harmless Grey Impala Safaris Limited, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability arising out of or in connection with the travel arrangements provided, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, loss, delay, or inconvenience.
Clients are responsible for purchasing travel insurance to cover any potential losses or damages incurred during travel. Grey Impala Safaris Limited strongly recommends that clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance to protect themselves against unforeseen events.
