Tour Plan
- Pickup: Morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by your safari representative.
- Transfer to Airport: You’ll be transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Maasai Mara.
- Flight: Enjoy a scenic flight over the Great Rift Valley and into the heart of the Maasai Mara (approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour).
- Arrival & Transfer: Upon landing at the Mara airstrip, you’ll be met by your lodge/camp driver-guide for a transfer with a game drive en route.
- Check-in & Lunch: Arrive at your accommodation in time for lunch and some relaxation.
- Afternoon: Head out for an afternoon game drive in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations.
- Evening: Return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
- Early Morning: Optional early morning game drive to catch predators and other wildlife during peak activity.
- Breakfast: Return to the lodge for breakfast or carry packed breakfast if on an extended game drive.
- Day Activities: Spend the day exploring different parts of the reserve. You may choose to have a full-day game drive with packed lunch or split the day with morning and afternoon game drives.
- Wildlife Sightings: The Mara offers excellent sightings of the Big Five, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, and more. During the migration season (July–October), you may witness dramatic river crossings.
- Evening: Return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
- Early Morning: Optional morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge.
- Check-out: Transfer to the airstrip with a final short game drive en route.
- Flight: Board your scheduled flight back to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport.
- Arrival & Drop-off: Upon arrival in Nairobi, you'll be transferred to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward travel.
