Tour Plan
- Pickup: Early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by your safari representative.
- Transfer to Airport: Transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Samburu.
- Flight: Enjoy a scenic flight over Kenya's central highlands, arriving at Samburu airstrip in approximately 1.5 hours.
- Arrival & Transfer: On arrival, you'll be met by a driver-guide and transferred to your accommodation with a game drive en route.
- Check-in & Lunch: Arrive in time for check-in and lunch at the lodge or camp.
- Afternoon: Embark on an afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve, known for its unique wildlife such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk (the "Samburu Special Five").
- Evening: Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.
- Early Morning: Optional early morning game drive to catch predators and other wildlife in action.
- Breakfast: Return to the lodge for breakfast or enjoy a bush breakfast if arranged.
- Day Activities: Enjoy a full-day game drive with packed lunch or split the day into morning and afternoon game drives. Samburu is also home to elephants, lions, leopards, and various bird species along the Ewaso Nyiro River.
