Today your guide will pick you from the airport and you will check into your lodge. If time allows, you will go out to Ndere center for a cultural evening and a local buffet.

Your guide will drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park through Fort Portal City, where you will be able to see The Toro palace. You will continue driving towards Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Start the day with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Named after the Queen of England II, Uganda’s most visited National Park. A home to the king of the jungle, leopards, lots of antelope species, over 600 bird species that you may sight hopping and chirping about as you drive through the park.
Return to the lodge for lunch and time in the lodge for relaxation. It is after lunch that you will head out for the boat cruise on the Kazinga channel; a water channel joining two fresh water lakes and housing the highest population of hippopotamuses in Africa.

Today you will travel from the northern part of Queen Elizabeth national park to the southwestern part where tree-climbing lions are sighted. The Ishasha sector may give you chances to have a glimpse of these lions climbing. The lions climb because the grass over there is very tall, and they need some good elevation to spot their prey. A bush lunch is highly recommended here and thereafter proceed to Buhoma tracking sector in preparation for Gorilla trekking.

Today you have an early morning transfer to the briefing point and you will get some very insightful information about Mountain Gorillas before heading out for their quest. You will also be allocated a habituated Mountain Gorilla family after which you will trek with the lead of a trained and experience tracking guide.
After the amazing experience, you will return to the lodge and relax here as you enjoy views of the forest.
Depending on what time you return from gorilla tracking, check out of the lodge after freshening up and then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, East Africa’s second deepest lake after Tanganyika. This lake is famous for its breathtaking views and visibly interesting islands, each with its own unique story. You will visit the punishment island where historically, pregnant unmarried girls were left to starve or die trying to swim back to the mainland. This was done to teach the younger ones a lesson.
Later, get involved in optional activities such as ziplining.

After an early morning relaxed breakfast, you will drive to Entebbe with a hearty lunch in Mbarara and your last stop at the equator. Then head to Entebbe and wait for your flight back home.
