This carefully designed cross-border safari combines Kenya’s iconic Amboseli National Park, Maasai Mara National Reserve, and Lake Naivasha with Tanzania’s spectacular Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti National Park.
From witnessing large elephant herds beneath the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro to exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti and the wildlife-rich floor of Ngorongoro Crater, this safari offers exceptional game viewing, breathtaking landscapes, and authentic African wilderness experiences.
Itinerary
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our professional safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your arrival time, relax after your international flight and enjoy the comfort of your hotel while preparing for the adventure ahead. Nairobi serves as East Africa’s gateway to some of the world’s most spectacular wildlife destinations.

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and journey south through the scenic Kenyan countryside towards Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and settle into your safari camp before embarking on your first game drive.
Amboseli is world-renowned for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. During your afternoon safari, search for elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and numerous bird species. The park's open plains and seasonal wetlands provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities and some of the finest photographic scenery in East Africa.
As the sun sets over the African plains, return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness.

Today is dedicated to exploring Amboseli National Park in greater depth. Depart early for a morning game drive when wildlife is most active and the morning light creates perfect photography conditions against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The park's diverse habitats, including swamps fed by underground streams from Kilimanjaro, acacia woodlands, and open grasslands, support a wide variety of wildlife.
Large elephant families are the park's signature attraction, often observed at close range as they move across the plains.
You may also encounter lions, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and numerous species of birds.
Enjoy lunch before continuing your wildlife exploration in the afternoon. Every game drive offers new opportunities to witness the remarkable wildlife and landscapes that make Amboseli one of Africa's most treasured parks.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel towards the Kenya–Tanzania border. Following immigration formalities, continue into Tanzania and journey through changing landscapes towards the fertile highlands of Karatu.
The drive offers a fascinating transition from Kenya’s open savannahs to Tanzania’s lush agricultural regions. Karatu is a charming town located near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and serves as an excellent base for exploring northern Tanzania’s famous wildlife destinations.
Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon and enjoy the cooler climate, beautiful gardens, and tranquil atmosphere before dinner.

Following breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day wildlife safari.
Tarangire is famous for its ancient baobab trees, dramatic landscapes, and some of Tanzania's largest elephant populations.
The Tarangire River acts as a lifeline for wildlife throughout much of the year, attracting elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, lions, leopards, and numerous bird species.
The park is less crowded than some of Tanzania's more famous reserves, providing a more intimate safari experience.
Spend the day exploring diverse habitats and enjoying excellent wildlife encounters before returning to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Today you will visit one of Africa's greatest natural wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater.
After breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the world's largest intact volcanic caldera for an extraordinary safari experience.
The crater floor is home to an exceptionally high concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and the rare black rhino.
This unique ecosystem offers one of the best opportunities in Africa to see the Big Five in a single day.
Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by spectacular scenery before continuing your wildlife exploration. In the evening, transfer to your camp located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Depending on the season, you may witness vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles moving across the plains in search of fresh grazing lands.
Throughout the day, explore a variety of habitats, including open savannahs, riverine forests, and rocky kopjes that serve as lookout points for lions and cheetahs.

After an early breakfast, begin your journey back towards Kenya. Travel through scenic rural landscapes and local communities before reaching the Isebania border crossing.
Following immigration formalities, meet your Kenyan safari guide and continue to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in the late afternoon or early evening and settle into your lodge.
The Maasai Mara forms part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem and is renowned for exceptional wildlife viewing, rolling grasslands, and the annual migration of millions of wildebeests and zebras.

Enjoy a full day exploring Kenya's premier wildlife reserve. The Maasai Mara offers some of Africa's finest game viewing opportunities and is home to the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.

The reserve also provides excellent opportunities for photography and birdwatching.

You’ll enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge before checking out around 9:00 AM.
You can visit the Maasai village on your way back to Nairobi.
This cultural visit offers a fascinating glimpse into the traditional life of the Maasai people.
You’ll have the chance to watch a traditional dance, learn about Maasai customs, and purchase handmade crafts and jewelry.
After the village visit, you’ll continue your drive back to Nairobi, with an expected arrival time of around 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, depending on traffic.
