4 Days Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru Wildlife Safari

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the morning and depart for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve via the scenic Great Rift Valley. 

Enjoy brief stopovers along the way for photography and sightseeing.

Arrive at the lodge or camp in time for lunch and check-in. 

After some relaxation, proceed for an afternoon game drive across the vast savannah plains of Masai Mara, home to the Big Five and a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and antelopes.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will enjoy an early morning drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. 

It is one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. 

As the Northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and attendant predators.

After breakfast, you check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. 

Across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the Rift Valley's most famous lake, Lake Nakuru. Known all over the world for its flamingoes, it's alkaline and recognized as one of the natural wonders of the world. 

Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. 

At times, there may be almost 2 million flamingos in residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep-pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. Arrive in time for lunch, then have an afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, check out and depart from Lake Nakuru National Park with a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley towards Lake Naivasha. 

Upon arrival, guests may enjoy an optional boat ride on the lake or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful lakeside surroundings before continuing the journey.

You may also visit the famous Crescent Island Sanctuary for a guided walking safari among freely roaming wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes in a peaceful natural environment surrounded by beautiful lake views.

Thereafter, proceed to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. 

Upon arrival, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight or drop-off at your Nairobi city hotel.

On the final day of your safari, transfer arrangements with accommodation can also be organized to your preferred Kenyan coastal destination, including Diani Beach, Mombasa, Watamu, or Malindi via road transfer, Madaraka Express train, or domestic flight, depending on your preference and travel schedule.
