5 Days Mid-Range Kenya Wildlife Safari – Masai Mara & Amboseli

In the morning, pick up from your Nairobi hotel, or you can be picked up from the airport or your Nairobi hotel at 7.00 am, and head southward. 

You'll have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, commonly called the escarpment. 

Proceed further southward, heading to the Masai Mara and arriving at the Lodge in time for lunch. Relax after lunch and get ready for your afternoon game drive that starts at 4.00 pm till 6.30 pm. 

All the Big Five, that is, rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant, live in this wonderful game reserve. 

Other animals include zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. 

After the game drive, you'll return to the camp for

Have your breakfast at 6.30 am and leave the lodge with your packed picnic lunch at 7.00 am. 

Spend the entire day exploring the reserve in search of the Big Five. With over 450 species of birds recorded here, there is much to see, including rhinos, leopards, elephants, buffalo, wildebeests, zebras, warthogs, Jackals, lions, many types of antelopes, crocodiles, and giraffes. 

Whether you are a game lover or a photographer, the Masai Mara never disappoints. 

A picnic lunch is served in the reserve along the banks of the Mara River.

After an early breakfast, check out and depart from the Masai Mara National Reserve for a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. 

Enjoy beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley, local towns, and the Kenyan countryside along the journey.

Lunch will be served en route before proceeding south towards Amboseli National Park, located at the foothills of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro.

Arrive at the lodge or camp in the evening for check-in and relaxation. 

Guests may enjoy the lodge facilities and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro as they prepare for the following day’s safari activities in Amboseli National Park.

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park with packed lunch boxes. Explore the vast open plains, swamps, and acacia woodlands as you search for the park’s famous large elephant herds along with lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous bird species.

Amboseli National Park is renowned for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, which provides a stunning backdrop for wildlife photography and unforgettable safari experiences.

Enjoy your picnic lunch at a scenic picnic site within the park before continuing with afternoon game viewing across different sections of the park.

You will wake up for an early morning game drive. 

Return to the camp for breakfast, then have the last photo game in the park in the direction of the exit. 

You will be dropped off at Nairobi airport or the Nairobi Hotel. 

On the final day of your safari, we can arrange for your transfer to your preferred coastal destination in Kenya with accommodation at either Diani Beach, Malindi, Mombasa, or Watamu via road, train, or domestic flight, depending on your preference and schedule.
