5 Days Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara Safari

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the morning and depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located in the Laikipia region at the foothills of Mount Kenya. Enjoy a scenic drive through the central Kenya highlands with beautiful views of tea and coffee plantations along the way.

Arrive at the conservancy in time for lunch and check in at the lodge or camp. 

After some relaxation, proceed for an afternoon game drive within Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of Kenya’s leading wildlife conservancies and home to the Big Five, including the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa.

You will also have the opportunity to visit the famous Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzees can be seen.

Return to the lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Proceed for an early morning game drive before daybreak, and see eye to eye one last time with the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. 

Watch the predators hunt for their breakfast this early morning, catch a glimpse of early morning wildlife, and later drive back to the lodge for a sumptuous breakfast. 

Depart and drive back to Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch served en route, to arrive by late afternoon. 

Have an afternoon game drive, then afterward check into your hotel for dinner and overnight. 

This is also home to the black and white rhinoceros. 

Indeed, this park was established for the protection of species such as the rhino, Colobus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelopes.

After an early breakfast, you will spend the morning in Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will have the chance to see some of the 350 bird species that have been recorded here. 

This is also home to the black and white rhinoceros.

 Indeed, this park was established for the protection of species such as the rhino, colobus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelopes. 

Afterwards, you will depart for the Masai Mara, arriving on time for lunch and lodge check-in.

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive with sets of lunch boxes in the park, one of Kenya's premier game viewing spots, which hosts an unending chain of wildlife.

Have the opportunity to experience the most impressive wildlife procession on the planet with over 2 million animals responding to ancient cycles of nature, famously known as the wildebeest migration in the Mara River.

You’ll enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge before checking out around 9:00 am. 

You can visit a Maasai village on your way back to Nairobi. 

This cultural visit offers a fascinating glimpse into the traditional life of the Maasai people. 

You’ll have the chance to watch a traditional dance, learn about Maasai customs, and purchase handmade crafts and jewelry. 

After the village visit, you’ll continue your drive back to Nairobi, with an expected arrival time of around 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, depending on traffic.
