Trip Overview
Experience two of Kenya’s most rewarding wildlife destinations on this four-day safari from Nairobi. The journey combines the open savannahs and exceptional predator sightings of the Maasai Mara National Reserve with the lakeside scenery, birdlife and protected rhino populations of Lake Nakuru National Park.
Spend two nights in the Maasai Mara, enjoying afternoon, morning and full-day game drives in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest. You will then travel through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru, where black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, waterbirds and other wildlife may be encountered.
The safari begins and ends in Nairobi, making it suitable for travellers looking for a compact Kenya wildlife itinerary without sacrificing game-viewing time. The route follows the itinerary currently indexed on the Grey Impala Safaris website.
