Masai Mara Safari Holidays

Kenya's most famous reserve, with the highest big cat density in the country and the Great Migration river crossings from July to October.

Why The Mara

The Reserve That Earns Its Reputation

The Masai Mara is where Kenya's safari photos come from: lion prides on open plains, cheetah hunts you can watch from start to finish, and between July and October the wildebeest crossings of the Mara River. Outside migration season it is quieter, cheaper and still the best big cat viewing in the country.

The decisions that make or break a Mara trip are where you sleep (inside the reserve, at the gates, or in a private conservancy) and when you go. We will talk you through the trade-offs before you spend anything.

  • Reserve Or Conservancy, Explained

We price both and tell you honestly what the extra conservancy fees buy.
  • Migration Timing Advice

Crossing dates shift every year. We place you by the herds, not the calendar.
  • Balloon Safari Add-On
